Delinquency of at least 30 days on government-guaranteed mortgages during the third quarter climbed 130 basis points from the second quarter, according to the third-quarter OCC and OTS Mortgage Metrics Report. The report reflects data from around 34 million loans for $6 trillion that are serviced by national banks and federally regulated thrifts. Prime real-estate-owned filings shot up 15 percent from the second quarter.
