FHA Activity Deteriorates

The Federal Housing Administration reported that it endorsed 11 percent fewer loans in January than during December.

The dollar volume of activity was down 10 percent.

Meanwhile, serious delinquency of at least 90 days on FHA loans increased 30 basis points from December.
