Fourth-quarter residential loan delinquency of at least 30 days, including nonaccrual loans, increased nearly 100 basis points from the third quarter, based on bank data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Late payments were more than 300 BPS higher than a year ago.
Looking at just delinquency of 90 days, the rate jumped 64 BPS from the third quarter.
