2010 Originations Expected to Fall 20%

First-quarter residential originations are forecasted by Freddie Mac to decline by $75 billion from the fourth-quarter 2009.

Compared to a year earlier, originations will also decline by $75 billion.

During all of 2010, Freddie projected that fundings will fall 20 percent from 2009.
