The country’s collective residential originations during 2010 are projected to fall more than $500 billion from last year, according to Fannie Mae’s latest outlook.
Next year, fundings are expected to decline another $267 billion.
Next year’s forecast was slashed more than $400 billion from Fannie’s forecast made in June.
